So glad to see Honey Bees back

It has been three or four years since I have seen any honey bees anywhere around our gardens..... I have them continually coming to my hyacinth and using them to get to the water.....it has to be a wild hive , because nobody in our neighborhood raises bees

Great! We are required to register our hives, your state might have them registered. The bees will fly over 3 miles to get what they need, but not normally that far for water. They use a lot of water in their hives.

Yea, as Addy said, they can travel many miles, I've even heard them flying 9-10 miles to search for pollen.
It's always great when I see my girls flying up around the house and flowers.

They prefer 3.5 or less but go further if need be.
