Hello!

I have two fish that I find very interesting. I have a white fish with dark eyes and an albino fish with red eyes. They are about two years old. I had two white koi fish, but they died about two years ago. I don't think these are offsprings or hybrids because they do not have barbells. All of the other fish in the pond are goldfish in various colors. I am attaching a photo of each. What do you think?

Not sure I understand your question.

White goldfish are very common, with black eyes and with red eyes.

Goldfish come in many colors and combinations of colors, and different hues of one color, like yellow.

I believe he suspected the white koi of hybridizing with the goldfish.

As WaterGardener mentioned, all sorts of colors possible with goldfish, even if the parents were different. I've had the same variation in colors as you. Some of the goldfish did not turn white until they were around 4 inches long. All depends on the genetic stew.

Thank you for your responses. I have had my goldfish (regular comet, sarasa, fantail, and veiltail) for over 10 years. I still have a lot to learn. You can imagine my surprise when I saw the white fish, since I have not introduced any new fish in my pond in all of these years. I'm looking forward to my next discovery. Again, thank you.
