Does anyone have experience with the Huron Sunrise?
Will it do well in a bog of 4" of water or should I build a raised section and have just the bottom of the roots in ? I understand it likes moist soil.

I don't know this particular variety, but grasses will want to have their crown above the water. So build it up and plant it high would be my suggestion. They are more marginal than in the pond type plants.

And you may already know this, but any type of miscanthus will grow huge - like 5 or 6 feet tall and some will be equally wide. They are gorgeous but they can be beasts to manage!

I was given 1 in a pot yesterday and trying to think where I want to place it. Have also been given 2 other plants but don't know what they are. I will have to get a picture today of them.
