Our cardinal needs to be bashful of photographs right now. He has mites or something and his entire head is bald. Poor thing looks like some cross between a songbird and a tiny pterodactyl! His feathered body is red and fluffy and his head is black and looks too small. Poor fella!Very cool!
It must have been "photograph a shadow" day - here's my cardinal friend, too shy to get his picture taken:

We get a lot of bald cardinals this time of year. It is head lice I think, the feathers do grow back, see less as fall comes around.He has mites or something and his entire head is bald.
