Punta Venada is a small combination strip club/plant nursery. As you can imagine, they keep odd hours. We finally caught them "open" today, that is, the gate was open. I wandered around the back of the building calling out for anyone. I saw the well...

The kitchen...

And the dining room. note the bricks weighing down the pot and bowl to keep the critters out...

Nobody home, or sober enough to answer, but man they have a green thumb, beautiful plants here...

Labor is cheap here, for $30.00 a day, a Mayan will work all day hauling in free coral and building a wall like the one in the sixth picture, All you need is concrete, the coral is free.

THANK YOU John. That is it. Ours is still pretty but it wasnt originally watered right, and lost all the lower leaves. Now it looks more like a colorful palm tree.

I remember seeing a lot of those pretty plants in Hawaii a couple yrs ago and some of those have such a lovely scent! Would be so cool to be able to grow all of the plants outdoors! Hope you get to bring home bunches to plant in your garden Bullfrog.

We bought four yesterday, a good size Norfolk Pine, two buganvilias and a yellow Hibiscus, now I just have to chop a hole in the coral and plant them. Cost about $52.00

Those will look wonderful once they really get growing. I love those paths you have there that I see in the back ground. Must be nice strolling through all the area like that whenever you feel like it. Maybe you need to invest in a jack hammer for all the planting you are going to be doing?
