I have a 750l newish pond in the city of Bath in England. It has some large smooth pebbles in the bottom but no fish yet. I have been told to add silversand to the pond as fish may want to lurk there. My question is how many kg of silversand should I add ? O

Not familiar with the term silver sand but i will share what i know . USING THE WRONG SAND CAN MEAN YOU WILL NEVER SEE THE BOTTOM OF YYOUR POND OR MAYBE THE FISH AT ANY DEPTH. not all sand has the same properties and that means some sand when disturbed will float in the water and linger as long as there is movement.
heavy course sand and some beach sands like possible your silver sand may not float in the water column. I prefered sand in my aquariums over gravel but i did not have bottom drains where sand would be pulled in a burn out pumps and there bearings. You'll find on you tube many a pond in south america where they are mostly sand bottoms so maybe that would be the place to ask
