Found this floating in my pond… looks like an arrowhead, water Lily, and a marimo moss ball had a love child… what is it???

no doubt it's a water Lilly but one that has probably not had enough fertilizers to much fertilizers, not enough sun or was burrier too deep in the gravel

They response that keeps coming up in other forums seems to be that it may be a new plant from a viviparous lily. It has multiple healthy leaves and seems very happy…it’s just very compact ;)

Put it into a gallon flat container with 4 fertilizer tabs , keep the tablets from touching the roots in 3 or 4 inches of plain kitty litter. and we'll see what you got

Someone else said it looks like a tiger Lotus from an aquarium. It floats so it gets plenty of sun. It isn’t buried in gravel, it’s been floating it’s just getting bigger. The leaves are plentiful and healthy and it’s growing well. I’m thinking I’ll just give it some more time since it’s strange but seems to be doing well.
