Another before and after stone job

Here is a small step I redid. I designed so it does not have a side step that goes nowhere ( not sure why that was ever like that in the first place.

Before I built my front porch on my house I had cement steps and railings and what a pain it was to get in the door with a baby and groceries .Never understood why people that build those steps back then would not give you enough room to step sideways to open the storm door .I am planning to widen my side porch a little to give a little more room to get in with arms full of grocery bags .All it needs is another foot on the storm door opening side
