Best way to remove fish from a semi large pond for cleaning?

What's the lowest level of water I can use? No coi is bigger than about 8 inches at best.

I have had mine as low as 18" with 24" koi- 1 1/2 hour. As long as there is water covering them. I would not leave the water low for too long. Good that you can save the pond water.
