Exactly what it sounds like...are there any pond plants that will readily flower indoors? I was thinking of using a couple of daylight bulbs from walmart as at least part of the light source for 16 hrs each day. I was thinking pickerel rush would be a good candidate for this.

I know some people successfully bring pond plants indoors over winter - I am not one of them. We tried the first couple of years to bring in some of the tropicals and the plants floundered along until about March and then just died. After a couple of years of that we decided it was just too much trouble.

I believe Pickerel rush needs a winter rest in order to come back next season. And most plants need more light than a couple of bulbs can provide.
