Elephant ear

Can someone please tell me what kind of elephant eat this is. A friend of ours mom gave this to me and didnt know the exact name. I have a 35 gallon pond that I want to put this in if it can be put in ponds.

Usually people who can tell these things would need a little more info about the plant such as the climate and growing conditions that it prefers, how big it gets when mature, does it have flowers, make seeds, or any other characteristics......

Unfortunately, no. I don't know much about Elephants ears, other than them being connected to the head of an elephant.

I wouldn't put them in your small pond, they grow quite large. It's a nice plant, you can plant it adjacent to the pond but not too close, as to cover your pond. Some plants in the Caladium family get much larger
