Hi guys, I have a 6x4 moulded pond which I have just dug out the ground. What my question is, should I fill in the gaps with sharp sand or silica. Silica I am having problems getting at a reasonable price.? How high do I need to bank my waterfall up? Cheers for any help as I am new to this.

Having never had one of those types of ponds I'm sorry I haven't an idea. Someone will pop in w/ the answer tho I'm sure.

sand would work. The banking of your waterfall depends on the height you want it to be. Post some pictures when you can so we can see what you are speaking of.
