make it two parts; the deep section and the shallow. I'd square it off and multiply the length (ft) x width x depth x 7.5gallons. It's approx but when you use the average depth calc, they're doing the same thing. But yeah, the water gauge attached to a hose is most accurate. Not that that will help you now since you've filled it up!
day late you should have asked that before you just filled it earlier in the week but like broken said take the bottom over all length and narrowest width add about 6" on to that width by the look of it and how deep the bottom is and that will be a real close guestimate and then do the same with the upper section
