Dr Dave, I just used a couple of 3" wood screws at each joint.

nc0gnet0, I have an electric heater hanging from the ceiling. I've been trying to keep it around 60 degrees so I put those aquarium heaters (from garage sales) in the wood pond.

Thanks for all the comments. The garage is new. It was completed about a year ago. I'll post some more photos in a different thread when I straighten it up a little. I LOVE MY MANCAVE! ;)

Have you ever considered using a water bed heater tucked between the liner and the frame attached to a thermostat? Might be a little more effiecient way of heating your tank. You could use a thermostat like this one to control the temp:

MrMB What did you use for filtration? You do realize that it will take up to a month for the filter to cycle so constant monitoring and water changes will still be neccesary.

Just don't buy that one unless you have 220VAC.
