So I got rid of some of the floater plants today cause they were getting out of hand and I see a new fish about 2 " long. Just went out to feed them and there is more 2" fish and some 3/4" ones. I guess the goldies have been busy.

I love to see the little baby goldies and the population seems to be controlled by the bigger ones. A few always survive tho and it's interesting to see what color they turn out as I have solid oj, solid white, and red/white and black ones that don't seem to ever be going to change to oj or ? One black one is prolly 8" long now.

It's very interesting to see what color is going to turn up. This is my first experience with babies. I have 3 goldfish that must have come with some plants last year(originally I have only koi). One turned dark orange in early this June. The second one started turning very light orange about 2 weeks ago. He seems like he's going to have a white belly. The third is still brownish. Who know's what will happen. It seems these ponds are always full of surprises.

Today the little buggers were nibbling on my feet and legs while I was in the pond rearranging the rocks in the waterfall. It feels so weird, like leeches sucking your blood
Gosh it was warm out today, around 80*. Was sweating like mad. Not used to this heat.
Got it done anyways and fish are happy now w/ the splashing water to play in again
