New neighbors outside our pond

[SoCal Pond]

We noticed a pair of woodpeckers making noise behind our house the last few weeks. Only today we noticed a perfectly round hole in a dead branch of a cotton wood tree. It is big enough that the female can dissapear inside it but peeks out quite often. I was lucky enough to get a shot of her heading out to do her chores today.
