I have a pond lily that has risen to the surface. It was planted in a basket and was approximately 20 inches deep. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get it to sink? If i need to repot it how can i ensure it remains on the bottom!

Get the basket out and replant and put some flat stones or gravel on top to hold it down. If you have nosy fish who are digging things up then use heavier stone that they can't move.

I make a few holes in the oil pan, run a piece of water resistant line across, put the lily below it.

Or a nice rock sitting on it.

Sometimes the pads float it right out of the pot.
