"Recipe" for reviving water hyacinth & water lettuce....

@addy1 @sissy I know you guys have posted this before..... I have some pretty pitiful water hyacinth plants, and they need help.

What ratio of liquid fertilizer do I need to use for soaking them? And how long do I leave them/how long will it take before they "green up?"

Does the type of fertilizer matter? All I have on hand is some for "starting" plants. It's a 4-12-4.

As mentioned in another post, try to find a fertilizer containing chelated iron. It will tell you on the bottle how much to use; just double that!
