What is this fish? A goldfish koi hybred perhaps?

That would be hard for me (pictures) - but also one other thing. Someone wrote that koi have long whiskers. NONE of mine do - the ones I thought were part or all koi. Strange. And the beautiful colors are something.

Not necessarily long whiskers. Goldfish do not have the barbels, koi do. I have some that have long barbels and some that are very short. Check the mouth, if it's up front it's a goldfish, if it's angled down, koi.

The only good pictures I have are unfortunately videos that are too large to attach. The started out blackish , but now after a year, are showing color . But they are still dark.


It's hard to see, but it doesn't look like it. But their heads look bigger and look more like koi than goldfish. I'm still trying to get a better picture.

Looks like kois to me . We have 64 to date.
