Evelyn Jackson Wild Life Garden

Water feature, rain garden, and native plants create a wildlife sanctuary

Overview

Rain from the roof falls into a biological filter, goes into a stream, keeps a bog with carnivorous plants and other natives damp, and then goes over waterfalls into two ponds. A pump recirculates the water up to the biological filter. In heavy rain, the bottom pond overflows into a rain garden. The rain garden is also fed by in-ground gutters that bring water to via dry stream beds. see lots of photos and details at https://ejwildlife.com.
