Well i finally got a cattail on my miniture cattail and thanks to koiguys planter rings my floaters are booming.

Your plants look VERY healthy, Oldhead! Mine look sick in comparison, hoping that now that I finally have fish, they will help "fertilize them. :) Got a kick out of the "come in wet from falling in", as I have 2 Bostons and a Beagle mix, and just started putting flat stones on the outside edge, so it's just a matter of time before someone steps too close to the edge and tilts the stone. :) I think there is something to use to glue them in place somewhat, but not sure,

I put edge stones then another stone on the non pond edge on it, usually the non pond edge stone was bigger and heavier, it would anchor the pond edge stone. Every stone added got a stomp test, can I stomp on it and does it stay in place. Because it would be me that ends up wet lol
