Shalom, Below web site has a receipe for waterproofing wood using a polyester resin. I've been told by a tech rep at 3M that both poly and fiberglass resins are toxic to fish and that epoxy resin is not toxic.

In summary the receipe is to thin the resin like at 4-6 to one and let it soak into the wood, and proceed with additional coats, each a bit thicker than one one before. He also gives some explanation on how the process works.

Any experience or comments?
