Help!! Had a problem with my pond and some of my koi have lost there colours. I think the problem has been resolved but one koi is still looking in a bad way and I was wondering what I can do to help bring the colour back. Any ideas??

Hello and welcome! Sorry you are having problems.

But we are going to need a lot more information from you before we can even begin to understand what’s going on.
  • How big is your pond (gallons, dimensions)
  • How many and what size fish do you have
  • How long has your pond been up and running
  • What kind of filtration do you have
  • Do you have city or well water
  • What was the “problem” that you had with your pond that prompted this
  • Do you add chemicals to your water
  • Do you test your water
  • Have you recently added any new fish
  • Is there any other problem with the fish other than “losing color” — odd behavior, flashing, sores
  • Oh, and can you post any pictures for us so we can SEE what you are talking about

Welcome to the forum!
There are color enhancing foods on the market, but they may or may not work, it depends on why the fish lost its color (?)
Sometime the color comes back on its own, and some time it never does, no matter what you try
Good diet, good water quality and no stress (netting, meds, predators, etc.) is the best you can do for your fish right now

Welcome :) You mentioned you had a problem with the pond, then the fish lost their colors. What kind of problem did you have?
