Interesting feature. How is the water distributed, how wide is it, and what size pipe are you using?

That’s interesting, but agree with the others about distribution……and wind. Do you have any plans made up?

I dont use it when its windy and a gentle breeze tends to not affect it
i only use it for an hour or so at night, when any wind has abated.
water is pumped up a tube hidden inside a rebated groove
width was about 1.5 m
as for plans, i did it all myself

Are you able to get enough flow for your needs using the hose? If so, you could measure/time the amount of water coming out of the hose to see what your current flow is.

I've always wanted one of those! I hope you get it running soon :) Not sure what sized pump you'll need but I think a valve will be necessary so you can control the flow.

If I was going to build this feature I'd have my liner extend a minimum of 8 feet out off to the sides and probably 10 feet infront and back. Or if you have the water drop into a depression and there are high sides very close so any splash is caught.

I haved moved on since this was built
It worked a treat
the pump size from memory was 600 litres per hour
More than enough for a decent flow
