My inherited pond has/had a thick English ivy growing on the roundish rock pond edge. I took a great deal of it down (to be replaced by TBD).
It just happens that frogs seemed to like sunning themselves, hiding among and blending in the flat part of the ivy vegetation.
Now that it is gone, what could replace it, be it vegetation, or some man made contraption?
