vallisneria americana

Have any ponders grown vallisneria americana in their ponds? It looks like an interesting plant and from what I have read grows very fast so it may grow faster than koi could eat it. Any thoughts?

don't some people grow something similar in fish tanks and think I have seen something similar up at Smith Moutain Lake that is over growing everything and boat propellars get stuck in it .I wonder if it is the same stuff

Yes this stuff is grown in aquariums, that is where I saw it.

I saw a lot of it in pet smart and at bay street crab and grill I ate at in NJ.They have a really big tank inside the front door that is built into the wall
