Goldfish dying...one had large white patches, lying on bottom

Maybe the blue heron injured them while trying to catch them, and then they died of internal injuries before the fungus had a chance to grow. Fungus can take a week sometimes to develop, like an infection, and it sounds like he died right away of internal trauma. Herons are a big problem, if they find your pond they will be back till they have traumatized and eaten all the fish. Heron decoys have been known to fail. A quick temporary shelter could be made of a big plastic tube, hidden under some rocks, then the fish could swim inside when threatened....

Cant see any evidence of fungus on her goldfish thats why I think its trichodina

No I dont think so Collen theres something else going on in this pond, trouble is you cant work with photo's of dead fish they hardly even unless there is external damage to the fish tell you anything
