Hi everyone. My wife and I were relaxing on our deck and she commented that she would like to have a water feature so we could sit outside and have the sound of water nearby. So the next day we went shopping for something that would fit her idea of what we needed. We found a nice water vase setup for about $60.00 to which she said that she wouldn’t pay $60.00 so she could listen to water running. That was in June, the attached picture are where we are now. I have thoroughly the time we have put in to get us this far and we have a long way to go yet.

Did you ever think about just turning on your outdoor faucet and letting the water run? It'd be a lot cheaper in the long run and less headachey.

I agree with her 100%! I would never spend $60 on a water vase when you could have 2ponds and a stream!!!!

Lol funny how things seem to escalate when it comes to wanting a water feature. Nice ponds you have there and it is addicting! :)

Thanks for all the kind comments. We both get a laugh out of what she said she wanted and what we got. We are talking about adding a bog filter but before we get into that we need to move a fence about 150'.
Robamy: Thanks for flipping my picture.
Johnhuff: Yes it would have been a lot cheaper but not near the fun.
I'm off to look at bogs and green water remedies.
