Can someone tell me what types of koi they are? Not great pics but theyre from 10" to about 16". Also anyomeknow how much I could get for these?

Also how in the world do i get rid of this algae? Is it through water changes? Im leaning on selling off these koi and converting this to a moss waterfall garden
I'm far from being an expert but I can see at least some are butterfly koi! The first one looks a lot like my Shusui

Those pics are nice, are you sure you want to get rid of that beautiful fish?
Does the fish have scales or is it scaleless? Try Google Asagi and Shusui koi and see :)

Hello everyone. I just moved into a home and inherited a pond with 4 koi, largest one is 12" and smallest is about 8". I dont know the pond gallons or much about it. I live in the northwest oregon.

I just had some immediate questions.

As you can see I have mesh wiring over the pond to protect it from herons or other predators. I have the device which sprays water in case predators come by, its the one the motion sensor one. But, I also have the netting which is an eyesore and takes a while to setup.

Is there any alternatives to this? If i have that water spraying motion detector device is the netting needed? The pond is not that deep, what kinds of cover can I give the fish in the event a predator arrives?

Also, the owner noted somethig about putting the netting on so the koi doesnt jump out. I think he was referencing when he put it in a smaller black bucket when he did pond maintenance and not the pond. Is that a good assumption?

There is alot of algae, how do I get rid of it?

Thank you.
I live in Eastern Washington. First batch of KOI when we moved them to the new pond were taken by a heron I suspect. I bought a fake owl and have never had a problem since, and that's been 6 years or so. I also had algae problems, to the point you couldn't see the KOI, I was ready to get rid of them, 40+, when I saw one jump, swore it was a salmon. So I finally decided to purchase a UV Clarifier, after installing the next day the pond was crystal clear. My pond is 3 feet deep roughly 18ft x 20ft with not much plant coverage and takes direct sunlight most of the day. KOI jumping out of water could be signs of sickness.

I foundthat I did have the UV Filter thewhole time. But I was turningit down because I thought I was saving electricity.

Anyways my pump started crapping out on me. Rocks may have gotten in and now there isnt as much pressure.

How nuch does a replacement for this cost? And where can I get it?

Little giant submersible pump. My pond is on the low side 11x15x2.5
