Parrot's Feather.....how, what, where....

I live in Zone 4 and only just ordered Parrot Feather. and have it floating along the edge of my pond. But am very curious to see what everyone does with theirs and . If I should pot or not...

Qualifier is my grow great after potting them because first year loose in pond wasn't very good

I have mine tucked into rocks.

I've had them floating for a month now and potted three strands. All are doing well.

Keep the votes coming. So far it's looking like zones 5, 6, and 7 have better luck growing them.

I emptied 1/4 of the stream pond of it, within a two days could not even tell I had pulled a lot out.

No problem growing here in Zone 9b. The Parrot Feather in our 400 gal pond had to be thinned out annually. I've removed as much as 2 - 5gal buckets. Now that we are fully screened in, all of the growth seems to be under control.
