Has anyone dissembled and turned their pump housing outlet to align better to there plumbing. I was looking at the housing of my Sequence pump and it looks easy to do and could eliminate an elbow and then have less friction loss. The only bad thing I see is that the drain would not be at the bottom but I could remove the pump for the winter.

Before pulling it apart I would contact the company . It might have an alignment pin built in and if so it can't be done. If you pull it apart without knowing you could damage the gasket and have to buy a new one.

See if there is a manual on line. I bought a pump that had the ability to rotate the housing. Don't recall the brand, but it was easy to do.

Will have to look at the Sequence 750 I purchased and see if there is any alignment pins.
