My pond is 11 years old and still the original fish and only have added a second filter and rebuilt the other filter bigger .I use lava rock in my filters and use plants in them to soak up all the good stuff the fish put out .I knew nothing about ponds when I started but figured I would learn ast time went by .

Great job on your pond sissy and your fish do so nicely w/ all that you do to make the water so fit for them. You are so creative in all that you do. Love your koi and they are so big and beautiful

I have been collecting ideas all winter for new projects ,some from you tube and some from another sight I belong to that does all kinds of building projects .My mind has been racing and can't wait to get down to my workshop and start .I don't like to do a lot of cutting in the basement .I pull my saws outside .I got a new drill 20 volt nicad .Yippee

I printed out lots of stuff from the puter and when I could not print the pics I used my camera to put them on the puter .I have to convince my sister to go rock hunting with me again ,not hard to do she loves it

yep and I thought she would not like it but she loves it and I have to say enough ,but it still is fun time with Sharon,she was 9 years old when i married my hubby .My 1 brother in law (brother)was 3 years old

old pond and aggie and berts temp. home and the temporary set up for my fish .Side wall before I took old liner out .froggy ,waterfall taken apart .messy yard

ladder under the bridge and then 2x12 on top to slide the bridge off the pond

old pond new pond and then covering it until the snow and ice storm is over .This was done in 2 days time .Saturday and sunday March 1 st and 2 nd in the 60's and 70's and then storm and monday 20 degrees down to 13 degrees monday night .Water from old pond put in around midnight sunday .Then monday froggy decided this was his pond

Are you taking a break still sissy? Looks like it is coming right along and hope you don't get a bunch of snow now holding your build up

getting snow now, but rain again for thursday and will fill the pond a little more and give my back, legs and hands a rest.Plus I have to go to lowes to pick up more concrete block .I need about 30 plus more .

I think rectangular ponds are easier to put liner in as all you need is the folds in the corners ..The one wall I could not do straight because there is a drain pipe from the gutter that i was not going to dig up .
