Overview
My garden pond has koi and goldfish in it. I have a bird bath incorporated into my pond, the water is kept fresh using one of my two frog spitters. I had a pop bottle air powered skimmer that I replaced with a diy box skimmer. I also added an auto fill float valve when I added the box skimmer. The float valve is connected to my rain barrel collection system. New aquaponics setup and description located in the discussion section.
Planning and Construction
My dad dug out the hole and built the deck. We did have a preformed pond but it started to leak.
My brother built the stone waterfall. I took over from there. Lol.
New skimmer and float valve auto fill installed.

My big koi fish a few days before she died.
My fish like to use the boards for shade.
