I thought I'd try out this new feature and start a showcase on my next project. The bog build. This will be a bog only.

Planning and Construction
The area is in between our existing house and our addition. Up until the addition, the air conditioning unit sat there and I surrounded it with pots to disguise it. Now the air conditioning unit has been moved to the west side of the addition so I am free to landscape the spot.
Construction is supposed to be done by March 1st, so I can start landscaping.
The existing brick wall faces south, the new addition wall faces east. The addition will have the same exterior as the existing house.
The area measures 13' x 9' and the bog will be sort of a triangle fit into the corner.
My plan is to dig out about 6" - 12" down and have another 6" - 12" above grade. Total depth will be about 18" - 20". I am going to fill it with gravel. I will have 1, 1000 GPH pump. I am going to use my 3 large Vietnamese clay pots as a type of fountain. Plumbing the hose from the pump up through the bottom of the pots. The water will overflow back down into the gravel. I am also thinking of having one outlet going to cut pvc directly under the gravel.
The size of the pots are about:
Large pot: 3' wide by 2.5' tall
Tall pot: 1.5' wide by 3' tall
small pot: 1' wide by 1' tall
I will have some plants planted directly in the gravel but am also thinking about burying a lotus tub in the gravel as well for a lotus to grow.
I will transplant some Iris, day lilies, and several other plants I have on hand into the bog.
Under the the liner and on the sides I will put foam insulation sheeting to insulate the bog,
The location is likely our warmest mirco climate in the yard being south facing with the brick to keep it warm and protected from north winds. So I am thinking it is a good location where I can run it year round.
