I love loons. We used to see them at my folks summer cottage on northern Lake Michigan....your photos bring back good memories.

I love the head coloring, looks like gasoline on asphalt. I used to go camping up around Lake Michigan and in Canada and loved hearing the loons when we were out canoeing. Best sound ever. Thanks for the reminder of such great memories.
