I bought 2 new koi from NextDayKoi. One came with a thin line along its tail that could’ve easily been confused with the design of the fish. Anyway fast forward a week and it’s developed into fin rot on her tail. We started to use Melafix this morning. My question is should I keep her in the pond and just keep treating the whole pond, or take her out and treat her. She seems to lay on her side, but if you scare her she swims away normally. I also want to treat the pond for parasites with Aqua-Prazi, but I’m not sure if I can mix that and MelaFix.

Have you contacted Next Day Koi? I would and see what they advise.
Agree that you need to contact NextDayKoi, but don’t be surprised if they have a “time limit” policy in effect. The thought is, that if the fish arrives to the consumer and it appears ill on arrival, it’s the sellers responsibility. But if you wait a few days to contact them, they can say that the fish caught “whateveritwas“ after it arrived (or was stressed by shipping...). But, still, they need to know!
