I posted a picture of a frog in my pond the other day, but I don't think it's a bullfrog. I'm longing for the sounds of insects, frogs and toads singing in the night :)

Nothing like the sound of a big old bullfrog on a really calm day at the lake. Something about it is so soothing.

i love the black birds here ,we dont get any frogs any more, well not since they turned the "locally named as the bog"into a soccer pitch
and amenity park 20-30 odd years ago ,
and thats called development.i miss the croaking
on the subject of development the stream was drained and turned into a what i call concrete run off
which once held a population of trout which never recovered
sad to say it though
