Hmmmmm, why do you suppose I said not to put it into the pond? I wonder.

The reason I suggested dry ice is: For the ponder that wants a special effect but doesn't want to spend money on something that will rarely be used, dry ice is cheap and effective.

I think he was planning on using it rather often DrDave.

In any case. They are fish safe... but remember that they will make topping your water off more frequently necessary!

I will say this...

I would recommend one with a light. Durring the day, the sun will burn the fog off and it will not look very spectacular. At night... it would be too dark to see it!

And if it is like my old red-eyed tree fog terrarium... your plants will go NUTS! They LOVE the humidity it will generate and will grow like mad! LOL

As I said, I think one or two on each of my watterfalls would look amazing! As there are actual overhangs on the bottoms of my falls, if I place one on the "just at the waterline" shelf that is behind the actual cascade... the mist should rise up through all the stones and look quite stunning!

The one I saw came with a blue light build on the the fogger. I would only run it at night anyway. I think it would make a great exotic look. It would be cool and mysterious to see the fish surfacing through the mist too.

Hi,
From thirty to forty fish in a day's incessant angling is reckoned no bad basket. ..... But I would rather have one banshee story than fifteen pages of proof ...... What if I should wipe Dick's eye, I thought, when, just where the rough ...... After this deplorable change of character we naturally saw each other ...

purchased a little fogger for my pond online (from a pond supply company) and when I got it I read the directions and it said for indoor use only. Are there foggers you can use outside?
