Saw my first v formation today heading south. Isn't it a little early for them? Can't be the sign of fall, I still have to much work to do!

I see v's of geese all the time down here, think they do a lot of practicing and just fly that way normally. But then again you are in colder country than we are, lots colder!

I don't know..... Haven't "felt" it yet this year, but have "felt" fall-in-the-air this early in the past. When Son & I were in Michigan last week, it really felt like fall weather up there. Was a refreshing break from an LA summer.

Seems that last year the geese hung around until November, as our winter was really wacked. It was high formation and couldn't hear the goose chirp, maybe ducks? They fly in v's?

Where do they go when they leave? I think they must all come here into Washington state and then they never leave. Poor things were gassed here in July of 2000 cuz their numbers were increasing and people didn't like the poop.

We were up in Algonquin Park for four days. All kinds of red leaves already! And it rained the whole time we were there!

well we are done I tarped the tree and did away with them and now after a day or two I will take off the tarp and try to save the tree and not sure I can as the bottom half was dieing away already .The arborest left and he will come back to see if he can root treat it .Lucky i know the guy or it could cost around 200 dollars ,He says it may have a chance .I hope so because it gets such pretty flowers and he will cut all the bottom limbs off of it .
