I thought I'd show you guys especially addy1 the little backhoe I operate at work. Here, I am placing rip rap (stone) along the face of the new bridge walls in the river. Back and forth one bucket full at a time it took ten hours per side.

When I hit hard pan with my little rig it was a struggle. It would be a fun experience to cut through the toughest ground, tree roots, etc. without even slowing down.

Wanna have a race! lmao............

That is one big machine! A one scoop pond digger!

Was trying to put in some plants today near our new lily pond, had to break out my baby to dig the holes, we are talking one gallon holes. Shovel just doesn't cut it. Darn dirt is so full of rocks, can't use a shovel.
Love my little back hoe.

We had our lines marked for a building we had put up, they did not mark the coax. Of course I tore a huge piece of it out, digging with my baby, so no internet for a few days...........lol

Darn, I hate when that happens.Like we say "CALL JULIE" that is what the company is called that locates the uiltilities in our area. Hey addy I ment to ask do you replace the crappy dirt you dig out with good top soil when you plant ?

We still had the lines marked, a professional did it for a building we had put up, he just "forgot" the coax, or could not see it with his machine.

I go out in our large field and pull the nice top soil out. Would love to go down to where the septic field is and yank that soil, but don't want to chance digging up our lines. It has been a critter pasture for years. Also use bags of planters mix from the nurseries. I end up with piles of rocks to use.
