New fish in pond ?

I have spotted 3 or 4 fish about an inch long dark coloured which I don’t know where they have come from ? Could they be babies perhaps from my Goldfish ? Are baby Goldfish naturally dark ? Any replies much appreciated .

I have a lot of dark goldfish. The shubunkins have throw back babies ie back to the dark gold colors. Some have stayed dark some have changed colors. Usually the dark babies end up being "normal" goldfish ie shubunkin babies are born with colors.

Probably baby goldfish. As a natural defense, many babies will be dark before they turn into their colors. This is a camouflage, and it protects them from predators.
