@combatwombat most of us here have learned to never cut off excess liner. It can come in so handy in the future if any changes need to be made. Now if you have a ton of it left and no way can bury a lot of it then save what you can. You won't be sorry!

I have 5'+ around most of the edge of the pond. No way to hide that much! I think some of it will get turned into shallow plant pockets and the rest will just have to get the snip!

You can roll it up tight. Just save what you can and call it good! Plant pockets, good idea.

My pitcher plant area was athletic of both extra linerand wanting much more the rounded pond so glad I left it
