Hey guys quick question. I have around 3000 gallons in a koi pond that was installed before I bought house. I run all winter and I'm in new York. I noticed some guys of what looks like string algae . Called my local pond place and they suggested I add salt which I have never done. Should I do this or ride it out till spring? Any help would be appreciated. Tyia

Come on line anytime and ask anything. There are a lot of very smart pond keepers on this forum.
