Snakes

I have a pond friend who is ready to get rid of their pond due to snakes. Any ideas how to stop snakes from eating fish?

You might suggest they change things up around the pond. Remove any rocks, bushes logs snakes might use for shelter. Provide the fish with shelter. I use a large, hollow fake log. Live trap and relocate snakes is another option. Lastly, I have not tried this but hear it might work...a mixture of clove and cinnamon oil sprayed around the pond.

They sell snake away at home depot, Lowes, never tried it. I like my snakes. I have only seen one in my pond in all the years we have had it.
