LOVE LOVE LOVE! Wow!

And here, too - all the ice is off the pond... again! I wish I had kept a tally of how many freezes and thaws we've experienced this year. Every other year it's been exactly one cycle - this year we've had at LEAST half a dozen.

Yes, they will drop the shell onto a hard surface to crack/break it, and then scoop in to eat the clam.
