March here came in like a lion, too. Last weekend we had sleet and ice, so I'm counting on it going out like a lamb. If it goes out like today's weather, I will be thrilled. Almost can have the doors and windows open, or so it seems. Temps outside already in the 50's, and partly cloudy, so heading warmer by this afternoon. And, since we have extra hour in the evening (time-wise), I think I'm sure ready for spring.

I am sure glad that March when I posted this was last year not this year :) We have had wonderful weather this year. In the 50's since mid Feb and now in the 60's. I normally don't start the pond up until March 1 - March 15, this year I started her up in the middle of Feb.

Going to re-pot water lilies today :)

Our weather has been extremely cold, and lots and lots of snow this year! This is a pic of my pond.

Sissy, looks like the snow added some water to your newly enlarged pond at least!
Things are finally thawing out here, finally got the koi pond waterfall and bog up and running yesterday. Everything had been frozen (ground and bog) so couldn't push water through frozen pipes and pea gravel. It's wonderful to have it all up and running like it should be, now, though! Spotted my first frog outside of the pond yesterday, so spring is DEFINITELY on it's way here. :D

It has been cold this past week, so I am begining to think March is a "write off" and will see how things look next month! Although on our weather network, it was -30 something in past March, like a hundred years ago, so things could always be worse .....

This year has been just a joy so far since January. Our average Jan low and high is 15 - 35 and I think we were within 5 degrees of the average all month long. February's average is 25 - 45 and we were withing 5-10 on the upside all of February. March has been no different, average of 30 - 50 and we have been within 5 degrees on the upside of that all March.

Perfectly average. Can't get much better than average :)

Lucky you, Pecan! We've had lower than average first 2 months this year, I'm certain. But, as of right now, March is predicted to indeed go out like a lamb. Week from Monday's weather is predicted to be 65 and sunny. I'll take that!!!

Yeah, we've had lots of "rain" too, unfortunately ours has been of the fluffy and white variety.

-17C with the wind chill today with no warm-up (ie above 0C) forecast for at least the next 10 days.

Can I buy anti-depressants on e-bay?
