Red Mangrove trees (Rhizophora mangle) are about the only plants I can keep in "Neptune the Turtle's" indoor pond. I started the trees from a propagule (seed) and now one has outgrown the pond. So now, the largest one lives in a 40-gallon stock tank and takes up a good portion of the sunroom. I have called various public attractions to rehome it and they all want it however, no one wants to put in the effort to keep it going. So, I think the best answer is to donate it to a nature preserve and have it planted with other Mangroves. Neptune the Turtle continues to enjoy the 'good life' in his indoor pond and sends his best to all of the members of the Garden Pond Forum!
