"Un-sticking" A Seamed Liner?

I have a small section of 2 pieces of liner I used double sided tape to stick together, so one wouldn't fall downhill.

I'm at a point in my build where I now really wish I hadn't seamed them there, as it's preventing me from directing some errant water leaks.

Is it at all possible to maybe use some acetone and pull them apart? I haven't tried as afraid I'll maybe tear the liner, creating a bigger problem. Just wondered of anyone has successfully done it?

I haven't had to deal with that yet, but I wonder if you used a heat gun on it if that would loosen the glue enough to separate them?

Heat will work but it will also burn through or make it brittle if your not very very careful. i would seam the seam and make sure it never leaks again
