After rereading "Fancy Goldfish" I think the lump fish and the white spot fish actually may both have lymphocysitis. The white spots on the fins of the first sick fish have mostly gone away and the fins are a little ragged, but the fish is acting much better. "Socializing" and not clamping anymore. The 'lump' fish doesn't show cauliflower-like growths as I've read described for lymph (and that's what the white spots on the other fish looked like) but does have more nodular or pimple looking spots which I've also read described. Still acting fine.
I've read A) it is viral, let it run its course, the fish will be fine and B) the fish will pass it on to all the other fish and it will keep recurring and deform all the fish, etc. etc. and you should euthanize the whole pond.
I'm going to go with A and see what happens.
