Catfish molting???

Oh and I also have too much sun in the pond, now stocking up on lotus and water hyacinths, in hopes to get the pond covered soon.
Just started the hot season, and trying to get everything within range.

The fish may recover, but this specie is tropical and requires water temperature of 75F - 80F to thrive and maybe even survive/. Plan on taking it indoors next Winter.

?...My pond has been set up 1,5 weeks and I used all the bacteria, water conditioner etc that the pond experts in our pond store advised. But they were out of the testing kit, so I bought strips at petco!

I don't think your pond has fully cycled yet.
Do you remember which additives you've put in your pond so far?
